May 8, 2013 Reference: Tim Glemkowski It is my pleasure to provide a reference for Timothy Glemkowski. I first met Tim about four years ago when I visited my daughter at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Tim and I spoke briefly at a gathering and later I attended a Festival of Praise where he was the worship leader. I was very impressed with Tim’s comfort on the stage and his powerful witness. Two years ago, my daughter, who is now the campus minister at Mount de Dales Academy in Catonsville, Maryland invited Tim to be a speaker at the school retreat (500 high school girls). Shannon, my daughter, told me that the girls loved his message and were inspired to seek to live lives of holiness based on his talk. Based on her excitement over the girls’ response to Tim’s talk, I invited him to speak at our annual diocesan youth day on March 16, 2013. Tim gave a workshop to all the girls on living a life of holiness and seeking God’s will. The teens had the same reaction as Shannon’s students and Tim was the hit of the day. Tim spent the weekend at our home and my husband and I got to know him on a deeper level. I was very impressed with his deep spirituality, love for the Lord, knowledge of Catholicism and ability to articulate the faith in a loving and inspiring way. I think he is a very gifted young man who would be excellent in a teaching / ministry position working with teens. I wish we had some openings out here in our diocese! Based on everything I have seen, he is well qualified and would be a wonderful role model as well.
