Tim Lowry was my beautiful brother who sadly at the age of 46 lost his battle with this
dreadful illness, when in June last year he took his own life. Tim left behind his wife and two
wonderful children aged 15 and 12. Unless you have experienced losing someone you love
to this illness, it is difficult to imagine how destructive the illness is and how it impacts on
family and close friends. As a family still struggling to come to terms with losing Tim, we are
striving to raise awareness of this and other mental health illnesses and would encourage

The Tim Lowry Bi Polar Support Group was set up using donations made at Tim’s Memorial
Service and has been funded entirely on charitable donations ever since. To date
approximately £7,500 has been raised by family and friends.
