Ancient Egypt Project You and your partner(s) will be doing a research project. Each project will be worth 50 points. You will have 3 options on the specific type of project you wish to complete, but all 3 will require research and application of the information to create a finished product. If you work with a partner, you will receive the same grade on the project, so choose wisely who you work with. Project Options: 1. You and your partner(s) are travel agents. You will research Ancient Egypt and create an online Travel Brochure trying to attract tourists (of the ancient world) to come visit Egypt. You must “sell” Egypt as a wonderful place to live and/or visit. Be convincing! You may use PowerPoint to create the online travel brochure. Use many resources to gather and analyze your information. a. You and your partner(s) will create a Museum Display and create a presentation to “sell” the museum boss that your display is worth having at the museum. You will do significant research and will then create the display. It should have something that you build or make. It also mush have a description of what it is, how it was built by the Egyptians, why it was important to the Egyptians, who was involved, etc. You will then present your display and create a PowerPoint highlighting it and convincing the boss to accept it at the museum. a. You will research Ancient Egypt and become the author of a novel based on life in Ancient Egypt. You can create characters and/or use actual characters from history. You story must be accurate and contain MANY facts. The story will contain the elements of good writing and be well-written with good grammar and structure. The story must be at least 4 pages long. Regardless of which project option you choose, you MUST closely follow the rubric. You will turn in all your notes as well…so take good notes!!!
