How the auction works
1. The lots are split into categories as described on the following page. Detailed descriptions of
all lots are also listed in this catalogue.
2. Lots will be auctioned in the order listed.
3. Some lots have a reserve placed on them and if this reserve is not met, the lot will be
withdrawn.
4. Some lots have been marked with a guide price against them to help your bidding
5. Bidding will be raising a hand so the auctioneer can see it.
6. On a successful bid, you will be asked to sign a docket acknowledging purchase and the
amount of the bid. Payment must be made by cash or cheque on the night (payable to St
Thomas of Canterbury School).
7. Some lots will be available at the auction; others will be by arrangement whereby the
successful bidder will be given the contact details of the donor.
8. If you are unable to attend on the night but would like to bid, we are accepting sealed bids
up to lunchtime on Friday 7th June. To place a sealed bid please contact the school office on

Princess Party - To take place at your house or local venue.
Includes nail painting and glitter tattoos for up to 10 children.

Lot 4
Fun on the Farm - Fun day for 2 children incl. feeding sheep & lambs,
collecting eggs, fussing donkeys and visiting a working farm.
Includes tea & cake – parents welcome.
Face Painting Party - Provide face painting for approx. 12 children,
plus help setting up and clearing away
Horse Riding Experience - 1 hours happy hack. Come horse riding in

measure – square or rectangular – max size 56cm. Bidder must
provide own materials.
Made to Measure Roman Blind - 1 x Roman Blind made to measure maximum width 130cm. Bidder must provide own material.
Grass Cutting - One lawn cut and edged
Babysitting - 1 evening of babysitting
Car Valet - Full car valet inside and out
Ironing - Ironing 10 men’s (or women’s) shirts
Ironing Service - 2 x baskets of ironing. Bidder to provide own

Holiday Care for a Small Pet - Caring for a small pet, ie hamster,

Car Park & Airport Transfer - Allow the bidder use of driveway in
Bishops Stortford for 2 weeks plus lift to/from Stansted Airport.
Restrictions to transfers will apply but parking always available.

Art Masterclass - Learn the basics of painting with acrylics on
canvas. Paint a canvas to take home with you. 1½ hour lesson for up

miles). Includes 4 prints selected by the bidder
Recording Session - Professional recording of a voice/voices over a
backing track and put onto CD. Held at school.
1 Week Accommodation in Spain – 1x week accommodation in 2
bedroom (sleep 6) apartment in Mojacar, Costa Almeria, Spain.
