Right now Green Corps, the Field School for Environmental Organizing, is looking to hire! Our early application deadline is fast approaching (October 11th) and I am trying to get the word out to as many students when I come back to campus on Oct. 15th and 16th! I am in the current Green Corps class working on a campaign at UNH with the Climate Reality Project to get hundreds of thousands of students to demand that world leaders make a strong global commitment at the Paris climate talks in December to cut greenhouse gas emissions. Led by Jan Ziolkowski (Arthur Kingsley Porter Professor of Medieval Latin; Director, Dumbarton Oaks), the course will feature career talks by distinguished speakers from non-profits, museums, and foundations. Students will also benefit from sessions with archivists, curators, and librarians at Dumbarton Oaks, and guided visits to the National Gallery of Art, the George Washington University Museum, and the Phillips Collection.
