Green Corps is coming to campus!
Right now Green Corps, the Field School for Environmental Organizing, is looking to hire! Our
early application deadline is fast approaching (October 11th) and I am trying to get the word out
to as many students when I come back to campus on Oct. 15th and 16th!
I am in the current Green Corps class working on a campaign at UNH with the Climate Reality
Project to get hundreds of thousands of students to demand that world leaders make a strong
global commitment at the Paris climate talks in December to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
I will be holding an info session at Harvard about Green Corps, interviewing potential
candidates, and trying to reach out to as many students as possible.

Undergraduate Opportunity: Fully Funded Wintersession Course at Dumbarton

I am writing to share the news of an exciting opportunity at Dumbarton Oaks for undergraduates,
and to ask if you might pass on the information to the students in your department: We are
pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for our second Wintersession course,
“Culture and Power: Art, Philanthropy and Diplomacy in America.” Applications will be due
October 31.
Culture and Power: Art, Philanthropy and Diplomacy in America Wintersession Course January

Information Session: October 13th, 3 p.m., OCS Seminar Room
Are you interested in learning about the intersection of culture, power, and philanthropy while
exploring careers in the humanities? During this fully funded, week-long Wintersession course at
Dumbarton Oaks in Washington, D.C. (January 10-17, 2016), undergraduates will gain an inside
view of academic, cultural, and art institutions. Led by Jan Ziolkowski (Arthur Kingsley Porter
Professor of Medieval Latin; Director, Dumbarton Oaks), the course will feature career talks by
distinguished speakers from non-profits, museums, and foundations. Students will also benefit
from sessions with archivists, curators, and librarians at Dumbarton Oaks, and guided visits to
the National Gallery of Art, the George Washington University Museum, and the Phillips
Collection. To learn more about the course, please join us for an information session in the
