Dumbarton Middle School offers the following opportunities to visit and learn more about us!
Visit during American Education Week
11/16-11/20 from 8 AM-2:45 PM
Please come prepared with your driver’s license/ID to be signed in to the school’s Raptor system. During this
week parents are able to sign in and come to the School Counseling Office to receive a generic schedule (either
academic or advanced academic) and sit in on classes. You will also receive a map to help navigate the school.
5th Grade Student Orientation
December 8, 2015 9:30 AM-12 PM
An event for incoming students to receive a tour of the school and attend a presentation of information
from various 6th grade departments. 5th grade students will come with the feeder schools. Parents also
may come and receive information as well as a tour. A separate tour group will be arranged for
parents. Parents must sign into the Raptor system in the front office before reporting to the auditorium.
5th Grade Parent Orientation Evening
April 13, 2016 6:00 PM
An informative night for parents of incoming 6th graders. Parents will hear from several of Dumbarton staff
members including the administration and support staff. A question and answer session will be included.
5th Grade New Student Summer Orientation
Date: TBD August 2016
Incoming students will tour classes using their schedule and meet teachers. They will also review logistics and
FAQ’s. Parents and students should attend.
