This report reflects prices of cattle with a USDA grade, weight and sex at
this market on this date. This report does not reflect all animals at this
market on this date. Compared to last Monday, Feeder Steers and Feeder
Heifers 5.00 lower, Slaughter Cows and Slaughter Bulls steady. Light offering
of well conditioned cattle due to continued inclement weather.
Slaughter cows made up 7 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent,
replacement cows 9 percent, and feeders 82 percent. The feeder supply
included 23 percent steers, 41 percent heifers, and 36 percent bulls. Near 20
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
