Compared to last Monday, Feeder Steers and Feeder Hiefers 7.00 lower,
Slaughter Cows and Slaughter Bulls 7.00 lower. Moderate offering of well
conditioned cattle with active buyer participation. Light demand for early
maturing cattle, plain cattle and cattle with dairy influence.
Slaughter cows made up 11 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent,
replacement cows 9 percent, and feeders 77 percent. The feeder supply
included 33 percent steers, 29 percent heifers, and 39 percent bulls. Near 11
percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
