Slaughter Cows steady, Slaughter Bulls steady. This report reflects this
market
on this day only. Cattle are graded on Frame, weight and condition. Good
selection of well conditioned cattle. Demand remains light for early
maturing
cattle and cattle with excessive hair.
Slaughter cows made up 8 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 3 percent,
replacement cows 6 percent, other cows 0 percent, and feeders 83 percent.
The
feeder supply included 34 percent steers, 34 percent heifers, and 32 percent
bulls. Near 13 percent of the run weighed over 600 lbs.
