Compared to last Monday, Feeder Steers unevenly steady, Feeder Heifers
steady, Slaughter Cows and Slaughter Bulls steady. This report reflects this
market on this day only. Demand remains light for early maturing cattle and
cattle with excessive hair. Slaughter cows made up 8 percent of the offering,
slaughter bulls 3 percent, replacement cows 7 percent, other cows 1 percent,
and feeders 81 percent. The feeder supply included 34 percent steers, 35
percent heifers, and 31 percent bulls. Near 17 percent of the run weighed
over 600 lbs.
