SCHOOL DRESS CODE

Parents and students are reminded that East Hills
Girls Technology High School has a strict Student
Dress Code. When a student is enrolled at our
school, there is a strong expectation that
parents will support the Student Dress Code
and ensure that the appropriate items of
clothing are purchased from our approved
uniform suppliers. This applies especially to
shoes, socks and slacks.
Bottle green micro fibre tracksuit pants in approved style and colour with
embroidered school initials and zipped
pockets.
FOR ALL STUDENTS IN YEARS 7 - 12

Shoes - black leather lace up with low heels
(no boots, ballet flats, no buckle or velcro
tabs).
“Substantial footwear should be worn at all times.
Footwear such as thongs, sandals, canvas shoes
or shoes with openings at the toes or heels should
not be worn”. NSW Department of Education and

JUNIOR SCHOOL – SUMMER UNIFORM
For Students Years 7 - 10

Dress - green and white checked ‘Prestalin’

The dress must be at knee level or below.
Longer dresses with long sleeves may be
worn to accommodate cultural and/or
religious beliefs.
Socks - plain white, ankle length with cuff
Stockings – Black

School blazer - approved style with school
crest. Available from Lowes only.

School scarf - with school crest (available
only from the school and Lowes).
PE Uniform for all Students Years 7 - 11

Shorts - bottle green micro fibre in approved
colour and style with embroidered school
initials with zipped pockets

Polo Shirt - grey knit with School Crest
(available with long sleeves)

Shoes - white soled sport shoes

Socks - plain white, ankle length with cuff
JUNIOR SCHOOL – WINTER UNIFORM
Winter Uniform – Years 7 - 10

Green Tartan Skirt - ‘A’ line with two
inverted pleats in front and back. This is to
be worn at knee level or below.

Special White Blouse (other white shirts are
not acceptable)
SENIOR SCHOOL – WINTER UNIFORM
Winter Uniform – Years 11 and 12

Skirt - grey and green plaid with zip pocket.
Skirt length at knee level or below.

Blouse - Pale green special style

Bottle green tailored slacks. Approved
style is to match school blazer - other
bottle green slacks will not be accepted as
uniform. Slacks are only available at
Lowes.


Under no circumstances are track suit pants
or shorts to be worn as part of the school
uniform.
No make up, bright nail polish or excess
jewellery should be worn. No visible body
piercings; small earrings or studs are
allowed.
Hair is to be neat, appropriately styled and in
natural colour shades.
Please ensure that skirt and dress hemlines
sit at knee level or below.
Any student who is not in correct uniform
will be given a caution note and if not
improved then the student will be placed on
a detention. Students with a note from
parents to explain being out of uniform must
present the note to the roll teacher. If this is
too frequent the parent will be contacted.
Under no circumstances will any student
be permitted to attend any excursion or
out of school activity unless she is wearing
full correct school uniform.
