Curriculum night is August 4th and I will be
going over 5th grade standards that will be
covered this year. If you would like to talk
privately about your child please let me know
by email, phone or set up a time with me for
another day. I will not be able to talk with
you privately during curriculum night.
There is a PTO meeting Tuesday before
Curriculum Night from 5:00-5:30p.m.
Homework: Homework is assigned nightly
and due the next day unless indicated
otherwise. Your child will write down their
homework inside their agenda each day.
Reading 20min is assigned nightly(I said
15min last week, my error), Mon-Thurs., and
is not always written down because it is
assigned each week for the entire year and
becomes automatic for them. There is a
reading log summary for each night. The
reading log will start tomorrow, they were a
little overwhelmed with organizing
everything today.
Agenda: I encourage all of you to look at their
agenda every night to stay informed. Your
signature is required on Thursday night.
