ORGANIZATIONS:
Yoga club meets on Tuesday after school in the upstairs Pickard Lobby.
Art Club will be meeting in room 420 at 3:20 pm every Tuesday.
SEA Club will now meet on Tuesdays after school. Please plan to meet at 3:25 pm in room 164B.
The Book Club will be meeting Tuesdays from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm in room 213. We will be meeting
every other Tuesday. Please see Mrs. Mettlach if you have questions.
Yearbook will be meeting Wednesday after school in room 103.
Science Olympiad will meet every Wednesday night to prepare for the Regional Competition. See
Mr. Sonntag in room 510 for details.
Knitting Club - Meets Wednesdays at 3:30 in the Career Center. See Mrs. Uvaas with any
questions.
Creative Writing Club meets on Thursdays, in room 212.
Heart Group will be meeting on Thursday, after school in room 404. Diversity Fair is not far off. We
will begin to look at some ideas.
History Through Film Club will be watching “Miracle on Ice” in room 512 on Friday, January 23rd.

GENERAL:
Those 1st semester Culinary Arts #1 students who signed up to take the ServSafe test. It
will be tonight at 3:25 in room 418.
Students who had Ms. Mettlach for Speech during Semester 1 have until this Friday to pick
up visual aids from last term. After Friday, items will be recycled or donated. Contact Ms.
Mettlach if you are unable to pick up your item by Friday.
Any students interested in helping out for Prom 2015, please plan to attend a meeting on Thursday,
Jan. 22 after school in room 208. We need to discuss our theme and some other important business
like nametags and decorating ideas!!! Please plan to attend! If you have any questions, please
contact Mrs. Hoff, Ms. Israel, or Ms. O’Neill prior to that date.
There is a doubles badminton tournament happening Monday January 26th at 7pm. There is no
cost to participate and sign up forms are located in the activities office. If you have any questions, ask
Jenna Rustick or Caroline Jones.
Lifeguards needed!! If you are a lifeguard and are interested in a job, please contact either Mr.
Werner in the Activities office or Kristi Kaczrouske (NHS Pool Manager) at
kkaczrouske@neenah.k12.wi.us.
Blood Drive Forms are now available in the offices – sign up now to donate blood on January 28th!
Winterfest Dress-Up Days and Activities:
Monday: Dress - Patriotic, Intramural Volleyball at 7:00 pm in the field house
Tuesday: Dress - Twin Day
Wednesday: Dress – Jersey Day, Movie Night at 6:30 pm
Thursday: Dress – Throwback
Friday: Dress – Red and White and Hats, Sledding Party 4:00 pm, Basketball Game 7:15 pm
Saturday: Winterfest Dance, 8:00 – 11:30 pm
There is a new dance club for all levels. We will be focusing on swing but various types of partner
dances will be taught. For more information, check out “Swing Dance Club 2015” on Facebook or
contact Louise Brownell.
The Winterfest Dance will be held on Saturday, January 24th at 8 pm in the cafeteria. Tickets will be
$10 and sold at the door.
Attention certified lifeguards, Mrs Dohr in the Wellness dept. is looking for daytime, 2nd semester
lifeguards, for mods 2, 4, & 5. Please see her in the girls' wellness office, in the fieldhouse,
immediately if you are interested.
The Neenah Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for summer
2015 part-time employment. The deadline for accepting applications is Friday, February 6, 2015.
Applications are available and can be completed online at www.neenahgov.org . If you have specific
questions, call the Parks & Rec office at 886-6060.
Have you every thought about going on a service trip? This summer you will have your opportunity.
Mr. Borchardt will taking a group of NHS students to the Dominican Republic to do service work. If
you are interested please stop down to see Mr. Borchardt in room 416 or email him for more
information.
The Cardio Room will be open to all students after school from 3:30--5:30 PM
Remember, students, there is NO Parking in the back row of Lot "B" (the main lot) when there is
snow on the ground! That area is used for pushing snow into when the lot is ploughed.
