Prayer to the Holy Family for the Synod
Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
in you we contemplate
the splendor of true love,
to you we turn with trust.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
grant that our families too
may be places of communion and prayer,
authentic schools of the Gospel
and small domestic Churches.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
may families never again
experience violence, rejection and division:
may all who have been hurt or scandalized
find ready comfort and healing.
Holy Family of Nazareth,
may the approaching Synod of Bishops
make us once more mindful
of the sacredness and inviolability of the family,
and its beauty in God’s plan.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, graciously hear our
prayer.
Amen.
ARRAY OF HOPE
Array of Hope, a project of Te Deum Ministries, is a wide-ranging concert experience that features
multiple musical acts, motivational speakers and thought-provoking film presentations that joyously
provide counterweight to the negative media surrounding today's society. It brings Christ's message
of faith, hope and love to its audiences. Please join us in celebrating an appreciation of the family
that is so often denigrated in today's music, movies, TV, radio and the Internet. The show's key
themes are the sanctity of life, the importance of God in the family and the loving support prayer can
bring to the spiritual and emotional development of our children and us. It will be a wonderful night
that you won't want to miss. Where: Notre Dame High School, 601 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ
08648; When : Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 7:00 PM. The cost of this event is only $7 per student
and $10 per adult so that our area youth and their families will all be able to attend. Please call our
rectory at 609-882-2860 or school at 609-882-3228 for tickets.
