Linear Perspective Relief Sculpture 7th Grade Step 1- You will sketch out letters and shapes and color them with either warm or cool colors to help you make the decision whether you want the perspective to be warm or cool and the background will be the opposite. Step 2- You will receive two pieces of poster board. Designate one for the background and one for the perspective. Step 3- Choose a mix of 10 shapes and letters. You will draw them around on one of the pieces of poster board (the one designated for perspective) Step 4- Draw all the shapes receding into space using one point perspective. Step 5- color the shapes and orthogonal lines using one of these media….colored pencil, maker, tempera paint……with either warm or cool colors (whichever you chose for the perspective). Step 6- Cut out the whole perspective picture. Step 7- create a collage using 5 media (pictures, cutouts, paint, oil pastel, colored pencil, marker, etc.) using only warm or cool colors (opposite what you chose for the perspective). Step 8 Attach the center of the perspective cutout to the background using hot glue.
