Core Value Word PP
You will be selecting a core value at random from the list. You will then do research on the word
and create a PP that you will present to the class. You will be explaining and showing the
meaning of that word. You will need to explain yourself either in the presentation or in the PP.
Just putting a slide with the word on it and no explanation will work.
You will also need to print out the PP using the handout function when you print. You need to
print four slides per page. Do NOT plan to print this out on the classroom printer. You need to
find a laser printer.
Rubric each will be one slide unless noted otherwise. Each slide worth 2 points. Total: 40

____ Poem that demonstrates the meaning of the word
____ Quote that demonstrates the meaning of the word from a famous author
____ Quote that demonstrates the meaning of the word from a famous person
____ Example from your independent reading that demonstrates the meaning of the word
____ Example of a character from your book who demonstrates the word
____ A song that exemplifies the meaning of the word
____ A person in society (can be famous) who exemplifies the word (explain why)
____ What the word means to you
____ Three synonyms/three antonyms
____ A movie scene that exemplifies the word (copy paste the movie poster and explain the scene)
____ African Proverb that exemplifies the word
____ Chinese Proverb that exemplifies the word
