G.2.1.2. the Contractor shall in accordance with SK EN 13670-1:20XX before start of installation check
and whether the transport of concrete has changed its properties that would affect the
Technical properties of concrete:
G.2.1.3. for Concrete with projected composition provided from concrete plants, supervising engineer
shall determine shortly before his installation implementation of control procedures to
determine properties of fresh concrete and determining compressive strength of hardened
concrete on-site concrete under the provisions of this Appendix and any additional
requirements of concrete construction project.
G.2.1.3.1 Control procedure for determining the properties of fresh concrete is carried out on samples
taken just before placing concrete in concrete construction in accordance with the requirements of SK
EN 13670-1:20XX and concrete construction projects, at least - reviewing every dispatch and visual
control of consistency with each delivery (each vehicle) and, and at reasonable suspicion by testing
consistency the same method as it has been tested in Production:
G.2.1.3.2. Control procedure for determining compressive strength of hardened concrete shall be
carried out on samples taken just before placing concrete in concrete construction in accordance with
the requirements of the project of concrete structure, but not less than one sample for the same
concrete elements that are continuously pouring concrete within 24 hours from Concrete with same
properties and the same manufacturer.
G.2.1.3.3. If the volume of concrete referred to G.2.1.2.2 is greater than 100 m 3, for each further 100
m3 is taken an additional sample of concrete.

Section 2 – Structural
Unified Construction Code of Republic of Kosovo
Chapter I - Concrete Structures
G.2.1.3.4 For each sample of concrete from the point G.2.1.3.1 and G.2.1.3.2 this Appendix should be
recorded:
a) The results of tests carried out fresh concrete when preparing samples,
b) Information about the element concrete structures and the approximate location of the element on
which it is installed concrete, from which the sample was taken,
c) Information on the mixer for the amount of concrete from which the sample was taken.
G.2.1.3.5. Control procedure for determining compressive strength of hardened concrete evaluation of
test results of samples from points G.2.1.3.2 and G.2.1.3.3 this Appendix and demonstrate the
characteristic compressive strength of concrete is carried out by Applying the appropriate criteria in
Appendix B standard SK EN 206-1:20XX "identical compressive Strength testing:
G.2.1.3.6. Requirements for a minimal amount of sample from G.2.1.3.2 and G.2.1.3.3 do not apply to
simple building specified by a special rule.
G.2.1.4. Control procedure for determining compressive strength of hardened concrete embedded in
each element of the concrete structure in case of doubt, the control testing conducted at the
site which is determined on the basis of data from point G.2.1.3.4 this Appendix or point A.3.3
Appendix “A" of this Regulation, the appropriate application of the standards referred to in that
Appendix.
G.2.1.5. In case where compressive strength of concrete is unknown, in the part of the structure that
concrete is embedded must conduct testing of compressive strength of concrete in the structure
according to SK EN 12504-1:20XX and conformity assessment according to SK EN 13791:20XX.
G.2.2. Installation of reinforcement
G2.2.1. Reinforcement made of steel for reinforcement from the provisions of Appendix "B" to This
Regulation shall be installed in the reinforced concrete structure according to design of concrete
Structures and / or technical instructions for installation and use of reinforcement: SK EN
13670-1:20XX, the standards to which this standard refer: And provisions of this regulation.
G.2.2.2. reinforcement made of steel for pre-stressing and reinforcing steel under the provisions of
Appendix "B" to this Regulation shall be installed in pre-stressed concrete structure According
to design of concrete structures and / or technical instructions for installation and use of
Reinforcement, SK EN 13670-1:20XX and standards to which it refers and the provisions of this
Regulation:
G.2.2.3. Handling, storage and protection of reinforcement shall be in accordance with the
Requirements of technical specifications relating to the steel reinforcing and pre-stressing steel,
technical guidance, project of concrete structure and the provisions of this Appendix.
G.2.2.4. the Contractor shall in accordance with SK EN 13670-1:20XX before installation check whether
the reinforcement in accordance with the requirements of concrete construction project and

whether during handling and storage of reinforcement came to its damage, deformation or
other changes that would affect the technical properties concrete structures.
G.2.2.5. Supervising engineer just before concreting must:
a) Ensure there is a certificate of conformity for pre-stressing steel, and / or the
reinforcing steel or rebar and whether they comply with the requirements stated in
properties of concrete construction project:
b) Ensure that the steel rebar’s are manufactured, installed and connected in
accordance with the Design of concrete structures and / or technical instructions for
installation and use in Reinforcement and in accordance with Appendix" and Appendix
“I" of this Regulation,
c) Keep a record of all the checks carried out, in the construction diary.
G.2.3. Serviceability of concrete structures

and degree that allow assessing the degree of compliance with the essential requirements of
mechanical resistance and stability, fire resistance and other essential requirements for the
building under the provisions of special regulations.

b) 2 years for bridges,
c) 5 years for the industrial, transportation, infrastructure, and other buildings that are
not Listed under a) and b)
G.3.3. The way the examination is determined by the construction project, which Includes at least:
a) Visual inspection, which is included in determining the position and size of fissures
and cracks and other damage relevant to the conservation of mechanical resistance and
Stability of the building,
b) To determine the state of the protective layer of reinforcement for concrete
structures in moderately or highly aggressive environments,
c) Determining the size of the deflection of the main structural elements of concrete
construction in the case of basic action, if based on the visual inspection described insubparagraph a) doubt in fulfilling the essential requirement for mechanical resistance
and Stability.
