RPPM Update http://rppm.transportation.org/Pages/default.aspx - Sue Sillick and Natassja Linzau The SharePoint 2010 platform was upgraded to SP 2013. The RPPM subcommittee had been considering deleting the Discussion forum, as it was not functional in SP 2010. Documents can be sorted or filtered, instead of sorting documents into folders; this improves searchability and findability. The last thing to do – Natassja is working on “How to Use the Site” document, which will be presented to the RPPM subcommittee on March 11. Then, we need to market RPPM to RAC, CUTC, FHWA, OST-R and TRB/AASHTO community, including in the TRB newsletter. CCTF members should register and become ambassadors for RPPM. Stephanie volunteered to lead a marketing subcommittee. Barbara, Dale, Georgene and Ken will help. Sue will set up a meeting for this sub-group. Some marketing ideas mentioned: Have a RPPM “treasure hunt” at the summer RAC meeting. An incentive will be needed. Think about how RPPM will be used. NOTE: RPPM was marketed to the above groups and a treasure hunt was initiated. Dale Peabody has a new engineer starting soon. He is looking for information on methodologies to conduct research. 3.
