INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING ONLINE REGISTRATION
I recommend printing these instruction as a guide in completing the online
registration
Follow these instructions to complete the online registration. Please contact
Colonel Paul at: edgar.paul@daviess.kyschools.us or 270-929-2631 with questions.
SCHOOL: - Self-Explanatory
SCHOOL TEL #:- Enter the telephone number to contact you at your school
SCHOOL ADDRESS: -Enter complete school address
COACH'S NAME: - This is who the Meet Directors will contact if they have a question
COACH'S CELL # - Self-Explanatory
ENTER EMAIL ADDRESS IN BOX BELOW - Self-Explanatory
JROTC or NON JROTC: - Select the appropriate button. This helps us determine
attendance and insure sufficient awards are available
VARSITY or JUNIOR VARSITY: The Meet Directors will use this information to place
students on the appropriate course. Varsity teams will run an Orange course and Junior
Varsity teams will run a Yellow course. Male students who finished in the top ten places
and Female students who finished in the top 5 places on a Junior Varsity course
(Yellow) at any previous Ohio Valley School Championship competition must compete
on the Varsity (Orange ) course. Refer to the 2010 results posted at the end of these
instructions for the list of the top finishers.
Every competitor on a team must be on the same level course, either Varsity or
Junior Varsity.
TEAM REGISTRATION: You may register both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams in this
section. Select the appropriate Varsity or Junior Varsity button for each team
TEAM LIST: Every competitor on a single team must be on the same level course,
either Varsity or Junior Varsity.
CRITICAL! Please double check and insure you have the last name, first name and
have indicated whether the team member is Male (M) or Female (F). This information is
used to assign the student to the appropriate course.
Each team must consist of at least 3, but no more than 5 members all running the same
level course. (Students not on a team may be registered as Individuals in a later
section of this form). If you have more than one team, proceed to the next Team
Registration Sections until you have completed the team registration process. If you
have more than 4 teams contact Colonel Paul.
REGISTER INDIVIDUAL COMPETITORS BELOW: - Use this section to register
competitors who are not on a team. They will be eligible for individual awards but not
team awards. Select the appropriate buttons: Varsity/Junior Varsity and Individual
Male/Female.
Insure you list the the student's last name and first name for only one student in each
Individual Registration section.
TOTALS: - In this section you will list the Total # of Male, Females, Varsity and Junior
Varsity. Insure that the numbers add up! For example your Total # of Male plus Female
participants, should equal your Total # of Varsity plus Junior Varsity participants.
The fee is $12 per person. Please make check payable to OLOU and mail to Colonel
Paul at: Apollo High School, 2280 Tamarack Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303. The check is
due no later than 15 Feb 2012.
Multiply the total number of participants by $12. This will give you the total amount due.
Make check payable to "OLOU" and mail to Colonel Paul, Apollo HS, 2280 Tamarack
Rd, Owensboro, KY 42301. CAUTION! CAUTION! this form cannot be saved! If you
want a hard copy, YOU MUST PRINT THE FORM PRIOR TO SUBMISSION. To Print:
Right Click on the page and select Print from your Pop Up menu. You will be able to
print the completed form for your records. WHEN YOU SELECT "SUBMIT" THE DATA
WILL BE TRANSMITTED AND REMOVED FROM THE FORM. After printing, click on
the "Submit" and you are done.
The following orienteer's are ineligible to compete on the Junior Varsity Courses. If they
compete they must compete at the Varsity Level
