Iowa State Cytennial Homecoming Cardinal Court Scholarship Application Celebrate Iowa State's 100th Homecoming and raise the profile of academic excellence by applying for the Cardinal Court Scholarship. Applicants must have an ISU cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and a minimum of 90 Iowa State credits. Applicants will be judged on their character, outstanding achievement in academics, dedication to the university and city of Ames, and two short essay questions. Applications are due Monday, October 8th by 5:00pm. The top ten finalists will be interviewed on Tuesday, October 16h from 5:30-9:00pm. Time slots will be allotted. The winning Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at the Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday, October 26th. The top 10 finalists are required to attend the following events to represent Iowa State University: Sunday, October 21st o Cardinal Court at the Homecoming Kickoff Friday, October 26th o Cardinal Court at the Homecoming Pep Rally Saturday, October 27th o Cardinal Court at the Homecoming Tailgate The King and Queen will be announced before the Iowa State Homecoming game on Saturday, October 27th 2012.
