Rubric for Take Home Labs: Standard: S8P1-Students will examine the
scientific view of the nature of matter. E. Distinguish between changes in matter as
physical or chemical. (Students should utilize the characteristics of science-making
observations, creating data tables, drawing conclusions, safety, etc.)
Task: Complete three of the nine experiments showing their understanding of physical and
chemical changes in common everyday materials. Construct data table (s) and give detailed
