MATH PLACEMENT CHART



TCC testing starts with the Elementary Algebra Test.
When a student answers questions correct, the questions move the student to the College
Level Test. Answering question incorrectly will move the student to the Arithmetic Test.
Choosing the correct Math path is an important discussion to have with an Advisor!

English Requirements for Math

Math 075 - Requires ENGL-085 or above (ENGL prerequisite may be taken
concurrently) If you have scored 38 or below strong advising points to
taking ABE Math before taking credit classes.

Math 085 - Requires ENGL-085 or above (ENGL prerequisite may be taken
concurrently).

Math 090 & 095 - Requires ENGL-095 or above. (ENGL prerequisite may be
taken concurrently).

TMath 100 requires ENGL – 095 or above. (ENGL prerequisite may be taken
concurrently).

