The TCC Math Department is offering a math path for Liberal Arts &
Social Sciences. It is a 2 quarter path-way. Prerequisite, MATH 085.
English Requirements for Math Classes:
TMATH-100: Students who have taken TMATH-100, Must take MATH 95
before

MATH 147 or MATH 131/132.

SAT Placement: Math score of 550 or higher allows for MATH 96/140,
MATH 93/136LNK, MATH 131/132, MATH 146, or MATH 147 only.

CMath 075 and Math/CMath 085 – Require ENGL-085 or above (ENGL prerequisite may be taken
concurrently).
Math/CMath 090 & Math/CMath 095 – Require ENGL-095 placement or above
TMath 100, Statway and all College Level Math -require college level English placement.
SAT reading & writing scores averaged to 470 or above places at college level, English 101
