Dinner Money
Just a reminder!
We have been informed by our catering company,
Chartwells that the cost of a pupil dinner is
increasing by 5 pence. This means that the new daily
charge for a school meal is £2.05. The weekly cost
will be £10.25. This came in effect on 26th January.
Please note this only affects Years 3, 4, 5 and 6.
Mobile Phones in School
Timings of the Day
This is just a gentle reminder that the school
gates do not open until 8:40 am. We are unable
to open
theschool
gatesand
any
earlier asemployees
there are no
Parking
outside
government
staff members on the playground to ensure the
children’s safety.
We have noticed that a number of children are
being left outside the school grounds from as
early as 8 am. We ask that you do not leave the
children unattended as the roads surrounding
the school are busy.
Please note that only children who walk to
school or home by themselves are allowed to
bring mobiles into school. Mobiles should be
labelled with the child’s name and handed into
the member of staff at the Key Stage 2 doors.
They will then be locked away in the school
office and will be collected by a member of
staff at the end of the day.
We cannot be held responsible for mobiles that
go missing that are not handed at the beginning
of the day

Thank you to everyone who bought books from
the Book Fair over the last couple of weeks.
There was a competition within the school

favourite author. We are pleased to announce
that the following children won £5 to spend in
the book fair:
Sabrina – Redwood
Due to your continued help and support we
have raised £870 to spend on books.
They will be put in classrooms and in the school
library. Make sure you look out for them!
The book fair will be coming back in June.
