The purpose of this meeting is to bring together experts in obesity, metabolism, and lung disease to develop collaborations, foster research initiatives, guide clinical care, and extend knowledge related to the impacts of obesity and metabolism on lung health.
The focused presentations by leaders in the field of obesity, metabolism, and lung disease, followed by discussions and poster sessions with senior and junior investigators will conclude with a published meeting report to review the current state of knowledge pertaining to the effects of obesity on lung disease.
Our ultimate goal is to identify research priorities to guide patient care in the 21st
Century.
