Lee & Associates San Diego Adds Three Veterans to its Brokerage Office
SAN DIEGO – May 1, 2014—In an on-going effort to build up its brokerage
services for San Diego and the county, Lee & Associates has announced the hiring
of three key brokers for its San Diego office.
Erik Faucett, Stephen Willmore and Karen Johnson, who combined have more
than 50 yeas of commercial real estate experience, have joined the firm as vice
presidents. Each will offer their own brand of services in the retail, industrial and office
markets.
“Karen, Stephen & Erik are all first class individuals who possess the
entrepreneurial spirit the Lee model was built around” said Steve Malley, president of
Lee & Associates San Diego. “We have had great success recruiting top quality people
to our organization over the past year. There is a growing number of seasoned brokers
that have grown tired of the managed brokerage model and realize there is a national
platform at Lee that is owned by and built for brokers that want to own their business and
control their destiny.”
Faucett, a graduate of University of Pacific, was previously with Colliers
International and Private Capital Investments Advisors. He specializes in retail leasing
and sales with an emphasis on leasing and sales of strip and neighborhood centers. He
is particularly effective on landlord representation in San Diego County. Along with his
partner Willmore, the two have worked as a team the last five years and have
established themselves as experts in property operations and tenant knowledge and
have accounted for more than 160 sales and lease transactions valued at over $100
million.
Willmore, CPM, IREM, ICSC, who has 30 years of experience in commercial real
estate, specializes in commercial leasing, investment sales and asset property
management. A colleague of Faucett at Colliers International and Private Capital
Investments Advisors, Willmore also was a broker with Insignia/ESG, The Koll
Company, CBS Investment Realty, Inc., CB Richard Ellis and MeraBank Savings Bank.
In addition, Willmore, who is a graduate of Arizona State, has served as a Court
Appointed Receiver on over 50 receivership actions through the California Superior
Court system for retail, industrial, office, hotel and apartment properties.
Johnson, a specialist in industrial and office sales and leasing and tenant/buyer
representation, will be focused on Central and South San Diego County. Formerly with
Colliers International, where she was an associates VP, she was also with BRE/NAI,
Grubb & Ellis and a purser with Norwegian Cruise Lines. She was the recipient of San
Diego Metro’s “Women Who Rock Award” in 2012 and she was also recognized as the
2008 Industrial Deal Maker of the Year by the Commercial Realtors Association.
