Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Loci manufactures an automatic monitoring and control
device used to optimize the production of landfill gas. In 2013, more electricity was generated in the US
from landfill gas-to-energy operations than from the domestic solar industry! Using the distributed
sensing and control capabilities provided by their “WellWatcherTM”, Loci is able to increase landfill gas
production by up to 50%; leading to not only higher sales of electricity/fuel but also reduced emissions
of green house gas. For more information please visit www.locicontrols.com.
