Our well established and growing financial firm in St. Louis Park, MN is seeking to add an experienced Para-Planner/Licensed Advisor Assistant to our Team! The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has the desire to work in the industry long-term and contribute to the growth of our business. Minimum Requirements: • College degree • 2 + years of financial services experience • Securities License Series 6/7 & 63/65/66 (MN insurance licensed preferred, but not required) • Strong organizational, prioritization & interpersonal skills • Excellent communications skills; both verbal and written • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & Power point) Para-Planner Position Responsibilities & Key Traits: • Prepare, present to FA and assist in implementing customized financial plans. (Prepare Retirement Cash Flow reports, Asset Allocation reports, term life insurance quotes, long term care quotes, and submit request for additional reports to the BD financial planning department) • Prepare paperwork needed for prospect/client meetings. • Prepare & meet with prospects/clients to sign investment, annuity and life insurance applications. • Assist Advisor with meeting individual and team goals • Review notes from all prospect meetings, gather data & prepare forms, illustrations, quotes & any additional reports as needed for prospect & client appointments. Contact prospects to obtain missing data to prepare for upcoming appointments • Prepare and maintain a variety of client performance and analytic reports. • Have basic understanding of investment products used & recommended for prospects/clients • Persistence to achieve goals and ability to fulfill unique role in a cooperative team environment Assist Operations Manager/Service Advisor with the following: Daily trade execution Assist with maintaining compliance reports for BD/RIA business & assist preparing for annual branch audits. Maintain familiarity with all technology used- MS Office, TD Ameritrade VEO, Assetbook, Morningstar, eMoney, Hidden Levers, various insurance websites, etc. Assist Advisor in competing weekly pending & completed business reports Assist with special projects: acquiring books of business from other advisors Assist with documenting Operations/Appointment Prep procedures and keep training manuals updated Provide occasional administrative assistance to FA (online research, formatting documents, etc.) Contact Secured Retirement Advisors Attn: Patty Lucey 952-460-3260 plucey@securedetirements.com
