civil
Engineering
to
developing countries.
 Civil
Engineers are
employed in all major
construction
projects
carried out by central and
state
government,
railways,
private
construction
company
etc.
Civil Engineering Branch was introduced with an under graduate programme in CCET from the
year of 2013 with well equipped laboratories and versatile software for planning, analysis and
design of various types of structures. The department is equipped with 06 laboratories to cater the
needs of 1st semester to 8th semester.
The department offers following courses:
1. B. Tech. in Civil Engineering – 60 Intake
Salient Feature:
 The main focus of the faculty remains to provide an adequate basic knowledge of the
Subjects with the emphasis on the practical application of the same of the real life civil
engineering structures. Besides necessary workshop the department organize from time
to time refresher courses for students.
 The Department actively promotes curriculum development activity by updating exiting
course, developing new courses and preparing resource material for teaching.
 The department has interaction with industry and organization to arrange guest lectures
and seminars/symposia for professional interaction.
