Pts are awarded as follows 1st – 6pts, 2nd – 5pts, 3rd – 4pts, 4th-3pts, 5th- 2pts and 6th -1pt. Showjumping Championship presentation and reserve will take place at 5pm on Sunday in the Nimax Ring. Winners must attend and be mounted to receive the prize. Rosettes to 6th place and prize money £10, £7 and £5 where entries allows. All Showjumping classes run under BS rules, using Table A7 unless stated. TGCA class rules: In Hand and Ridden Classes All classes are open to coloured and solid coloured gypsy cobs. These classes are qualifiers for the TGCA National Championship Show to be held 22nd September 2012 at The College Equestrian Centre, Keysoe, Bedfordshire. TGCA Classes (in hand or ridden) are open to anyone to qualify, unless showing a stallion. Non licensed stallions may compete in the class but are not able to qualify for the National Championships. All stallions four years old and over must be licensed with the TGCA prior to the show in order to qualify for the TGCA National Championships. All ridden and in hand stallions must wear a TGCA bridle number when competing in order to qualify. No unlicensed TGCA stallion may take a qualification All exhibits must be registered (passports over-stamped) and exhibitors and owners must be fully paid up members either prior to, or within 21 days of the show date for that qualification to be valid. Member’s who are registered prior to the show, must have their qualification cards present in the ring for the judge to sign for the qualification to be valid. Foals born in the current year are not permitted to be shown in TGCA classes, except at the TGCA Championship Show “TOYS". All stallions and colts two years and over must be bitted when in the ring. Competitors must display their TGCA stallion disc on their exhibit’s bridle when competing or qualification will not be given. These classes are open to both coloured and solid gypsy cobs with a “Best Solid “rosette being awarded to the highest place solid in each class. A rosette is awarded to the highest placed TGCA member in each class. Ridden Classes: - Exhibits must be 4 years and over and comply with the above. Cost is £55 duration including straw Friday 24th August from 4pm till Monday 27th August Midday. A limited number of day stables are available at a cost of £25 per day from 7.30 am till 5.30pm. Shaving can be provided at extra cost of £9.00 per bale. Stables must be left clean and tidy, straw beds to be totally cleared out, shavings beds to be mucked out and beds thrown up at the back. Any competitor failing to do this will have a £20 mucking out fee levied on them. Camping is available on site free of charge. The canteen will be open for an evening meal from 6pm – 8pm on Friday and Saturday, if you wish for a meal on Friday will you please inform us so we know numbers to cater for. The Bar will be open on Saturday 25th August for the evening. A £25.00 deposit and proof of address (driving licence or utilities bill) will be required for Challenge Trophies. The WDRC and Horse Creek Farm accepts no liability for any thefts, accidents, damage, illness or injury, however caused to horses, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever, save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence or organisers or anyone, for whom in law they are responsible. Neither the organisers of the event, nor the landowners, or any other agent employed or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, illness or injuries to horses, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents, and accessories or any other persons or property whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract, or in any other way whatsoever. It is recommended that owners/riders have adequate insurance to cover them at this event. 3. Horses and ponies MUST only be walked on the showground, warming up is to only be in the designated areas. Any misuse of equipment, whips, foul language and/or welfare of children or ponies will result in you being asked to leave the showground and forfeit all entry fees paid. 4. Please take all your litter and rubbish home with you, or place in bins provided. Please clear up any hay or droppings around your horsebox and leave the showground neat and tidy. 6. All horses or ponies competing must have up to date influenza inoculations. 7. No horse or pony is to be left tied up outside their lorry or trailer unsupervised. 8. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to a horse/competitor 9. No entry fee will be refunded unless a certificate accompanies withdrawal from either a doctor or veterinary surgeon. In the unlikely event of the show being cancelled, entries will be refunded in full. 10. Any objections must be made to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the incident, in writing, accompanied by a deposit of £20 which will be returned if the objection is upheld. 11. No horses/ponies under the age of 4yrs to be ridden on the showground 12. Competitors age as at date of show. 13. Dogs must be kept on leads as all times. 14. No haynets are to be hung outside your horsebox/trailer when parked on the hardstanding, if you need to tie your horse outside your vehicle please notify our stewards who will show you were to park. 15. Do not muck out your horseboxes on the showground, please leave the area clean and tidy around your vehicle when you leave. 16. All classes are held under the relevant body rules and by British Riding Club Rules, classes may be amended, cancelled or changed without prior notice, prizes may be withheld as per the appropriate rulebook.
