Specific Agreement for student mobility

Valparaíso - Chile
(NAME OF THE UNIVERSITY), Higher Education Institution, represented by
its Chancellor, Mr ......................., headquartered in the city of (NAME OF THE
CITY, COUNTRY), by one side, and on the other, UNIVERSIDAD DE
VALPARAÍSO Educational Corporation under public law, created by Decree
with Force of Law No. 6 of 1981, represented by its Chancellor Mr. Aldo
Salvador Valle Acevedo, residing at Blanco Street, No. 951, Valparaiso, Chile
and whose personality to represent the Universidad de Valparaíso, it is
stablished by the Education Supreme Decree No. 238 of 2012, accept to sign
the following agreement.
Considering
1. That mission of Universidad de Valparaíso is to generate and disseminate
knowledge, cultivating science and technology, humanities and arts, through
the development of programs for undergraduate, graduate and research,
providing skills to train graduates, professionals and researchers that society
requires, in a frame of quality management and commitment to regional and
national development.
The values that inspires Universidad de Valparaíso are participation,
solidarity, equity, freedom, pluralism, critical thinking and respect for
diversity."

3. That appearing Universities signed a Cooperation Framework Agreement,
which recognize the value of cultural and educational exchanges.

Agree:
Article 1. Students from both institutions will have access to student exchange
system established by this agreement.
Article 2. The exchange system will be subject to the principle of reciprocity,
so that each institution agrees to receive a total of ____ students each
semester.
Article 3. Universidad de Valparaíso will offer his courses and subjects in
Spanish language.
Article 4. Students coming from the University of
_________________________, may register and take subjects in one or
more of the Faculties of the Universidad de Valparaiso.
Article 5. For its part, the University of ________________________, will
provide their courses in ________________. Students coming from
Universidad de Valparaíso, will be able to register and take subjects in one or
more of the Faculties of the University of _____________________.
Article 6. Universities comparecientes, agree that exchange students will be
exempted from payment of fees and tuition at the host university, and must
pay their tuition and fees only at their home University.
Exchange students must have health insurance for the duration of their stay in
the host university.
Notwithstanding the above, the cost of travel, accommodation and travel
insurance and / or health, shall be borne by each student.
In any case the host university will provide guidance and / or information
systems or stay accommodation.

Article 7. Universities comparecientes, agree to send his partner the report of
scores achieved by exchange students.
Article 8. The term of this agreement shall be from the date it is fully
processed according to the rules of each institution and will be valid for a
period of four (4) years. Automatically be renewed for the same period.
In any case, either party may terminate the agreement prior to its expiration,
which shall be communicated to the other party giving not less than six (6)
months. The termination of the Agreement, in no way affect the activities that
are being implemented.
Article 9. Any dispute between the parties is verified on the enforcement or
application of this agreement shall be settled by a direct agreement between
them.
Article 10. This agreement is signed in Spanish and ________, both copies of
equal validity. (This article is only considered if the agreement is signed in
more than one language).
As proof of consent was signed two copies of the same tenor and for the
same purpose in the city of Valparaiso, Chile
