YOUTH & PASTORAL MINISTRY COURSES: The Diocese of Kerry are offering
both of these courses to adults interested in developing the knowledge & skills to work
with young people (Youth Ministry Course) and to those wanting to become more
involved in parish life (Pastoral Ministry Course). Details from Parish Office.
MILLSTREET ALTAR SOCIETY: 14th & 21st June: Group B
MILLSTREET ADORATION COMMITTEE: Invites everyone to attend a special
hour of Exposition on this Wednesday 10th June between 6.30p.m. & 7.30p.m.
followed by Mass for the intentions of the People of the Parish and especially the
adorers in Millstreet & Cullen.
Community Notices
 MILLSTREET TOWN TIDY is planning a cleanup in St. Mary’s Cemetery on
Thursday next (11th) at 7.00p.m. All equipment provided and all volunteers greatly
appreciated.
 MILLSTREET TWINNING: To celebrate 30th years of our twinning the
committee invite anyone interested in visiting Pommerit between 29th August & 5th
September to contact Liam Flynn or any committee member. Flights ex Cork.
 CULLEN & DISTRICT SPECIAL NEEDS ASSOCIATION: Committee
meeting on Monday night at 8.00p.m. Harvest Afternoon will take place on July
19th.

 THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: “Lessons from Geese”: Fact: When a goose gets
sick, wounded or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to
help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then, they
launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock. Lesson: If we have
as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other in difficult times as well as
when we are strong.
