This session provides a detailed overview of the strengths-based assessment and service planning
process. This training is for people becoming a clinical liaison, as well as for anyone interested in
learning this new process.

Their Effects on Native Americans

Information about animal cruelty and its link to interpersonal violence such as physical assault,
homicide and child molestation will be provided. Understand the seriousness of animal cruelty and
the tools to intervene when necessary.

Learn the symptoms of several adult thought and mood disorders. 

This interactive session is intended for clinicians and case managers who participate in the placement
of clients being treated for substance use disorders. Using special tools based on the A.S.A.M. PPC2R, participants are introduced to concepts of Risk Assessment and Intensity of Service.

BHT Enhanced Assessment Training
Presented by: Ryan Blanton, Al Samorano - COPE
This training will cover strengths-based clinical interviewing, psychiatric mental status examinations,
DSM-IV-TR criteria and service planning. This part of the assessment training is needed for
Behavioral Heath Technicians to become a clinical liaison.
 This training is required for personnel working in a Community Service Agency.
