Tour Luray Caverns followed by the Carriage House, Ropes Course, Museum and gift shop
(note: if you are interested in doing the ropes course, you MUST be wearing closed toed shoes)
Eat bag lunch from home at Luray Caverns
Depart for Air & Space Museum
Arrive Air & Space Museum
Bus P/U and depart for dinner
Dinner stop at Old Country Buffet (2942 Prince William Pkwy. Woodbridge, VA)
Check into Ramada Inn (4316 Inn Street Quantico, VA)
Wake up. Continental breakfast at hotel
Depart for Washington
Guided walking tour of WWII, Vietnam, Lincoln and Korean Memorials. Then continue to MLK
and walk along tidal basin to FDR and Jefferson Memorials.
Early boxed lunch delivered to Jefferson Memorial
Bus P/U at Jefferson Memorial and proceed to US Supreme Court
Drop off and walk to US Supreme Court and go thru security.
Visit Supreme Court
Meet outside of Supreme Court building then walk to US Capitol Visitor’s Center
Tour US Capitol
Bus P/U from US Capitol to Natural History Museum
Enter Natural History Museum
Meet on Constitution side of Natural History and walk to White House
Visit outside of White House for photo ops and street shopping on 15th St.; Walk to both North
and South Entrances of White House
Bus P/U and depart for hotel.
Arrive hotel
Pizza with drinks and salad delivered to hotel conference room.
Break into study groups to discuss DC assignments
Wake up. Continental breakfast and load bus. (Eat a good breakfast!)
Depart for Arlington National Cemetery
Guided walking tour of Arlington National Cemetery including Kennedy Gravesites, Changing of
the Guard and Arlington House.
Depart for US Holocaust Museum
Visit US Holocaust Museum
Depart Washington DC
Late fast food lunch stop
Arrive back at Thruway Shopping Center
