Artist: See Janet Fish for examples Materials: watercolor, paper, glass bottles, shells Procedure: Look at classroom examples & artist Janet Fish for ideas/inspiration Answer the artist related question below: (10 Points) 1. What are 3 common characteristics of Janet Fish’s art work? Choose objects which follow criteria for project Create a sketch which meets the following rules: 1. Use the rule of thirds 2. Tape down paper to leave a white border 3. Include at least 2 transparent glass bottles & 3 shells 4. Include at least 2 edges of a napkin/towel under your objects 5. Include a background of sand or grass 6. Do not place your objects at the bottom of the page Once you have your final sketch drafted get it approved by Mrs. G Begin painting final work on 9x12 water color paper *Fabulous!
