Workshops for Faster Progress
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my teaching days.
Classes are 2 ½ hours and occur at 10 am, 1:30 pm,
or 6 pm. Watercolor classes are separate from oil
and acrylic classes.
QuickStart to Painting with Media
Exploration—suggested for all students, $150,
all supplies included. A number of important
art tools are also given to each student.
Each class includes discussion of a key concept or
technique demonstration followed by student
painting time with teacher interaction and class
discussion.
Full-day workshop. Covers art fundamentals,
including composition, value and color theory,
sketching methods, and painting
tools/techniques—all topics important to help
emerging students achieve success.
Students paint the still life or floral arrangement
provided or use subject matter/photographs of their
choice.
New students can join an existing class at any
time—no need to wait until a new session starts.
We will discuss your experience and goals and then
tailor an approach within a group setting for you.
Class exercises using watercolor, acrylic, and
oil are used to reinforce key concepts and also
to help students decide what media they want to
explore in the future.
Watercolor JumpStart Workshop—for those
learning watercolor, $110, all supplies
included.
Rate: $30/class, $230/8 class session
6 hours of demonstrations and student hands-on
practice in watercolor painting techniques.
