Commencement Fee
All seniors will be required to contribute to the Commencement fund. This fund will be used to
pay for all the necessities required to make Graduation as memorable experience as possible.
The fee will be non-refundable $60. Yearbook, cap and gown, and announcement costs are
not included. Seniors can pay Commencement Fund before, during lunch, or after school in the
main office to Senior Class Advisors, Ms. Tradell Bryant in the form of the following payments:
Cash, Money Order, Check (Payable to Westside High School & check must include a phone number )
or you may register with School Cash Online https://dcps.schoolcashonline.com/
Cap and Gowns
All seniors must order their cap and gowns through Herff Jones. The gowns are rental gowns
that will be returned after graduation prior to students receiving their diplomas. Seniors are to
keep their cap and tassel. If you have not ordered your cap and gown please order as soon as
possible. Please see Ms. Kohn if you need any assistance with ordering.

Senior Activities
Senior events are revocable privilege! These privileges can be taken away from
indivdulas or the entire senior class for any unsatisfactory behavior or actions that are
outlined in Duval County Student Code of Conduct throughtout the year.
If a privilege is revoked and the event is paid by a senior they will NOT be allowed to
attend and funds will not be reimbursed.

All seniors will receive 10 tickets. Students can earn extra ticket(s) for attending following

Join PTSA $5.00 (1 student/1 parent = 2 possible tickets)
