Ticket Booth Attendant Job Description

Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Information Center Office assistant the Ticket

Booth Attendant sells tickets for events, including but not limited to SUBOG sponsored bus trips, husky road shows (busses to football and basketball games), movies, and any other special events.

Must be available to work the same shift every week in the ticket booth and be flexible to work additional shifts as needed for special events. The ticket booth attendant will be cross trained in

Information Center responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

 Run the ticket office, including the Choice ticket program, BOCA printer, and cash handling

 Balance cash drawer and reconcile tickets before and after each program

 Answer questions about ticket sales

 Perform opening / closing and shift change duties

 Perform customer service functions

 Required to be PCI compliant

 Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

 Ability to interact with people.

 Ability to communicate clearly on a face-to-face basis, as well as on the phone.

 Ability to deal with money

 Ability to work under the supervision of student peers.

 Ability to work self-sufficiently when necessary.

 Have the flexibility to work on a varying schedule.
