St Mary's Academy Debate Club

Dear Parents and Guardians:
Your student would like to participate in our St Mary’s Debate Club. The club will meet a total of three
afternoons for instruction, organizational meetings, and time to discuss their topics with their team
members. The Debate will take place on November 20th, 2014, in the Parish Center, at 7:00 P.M. I have
enclosed the dates and times that the club will meet. Please check your calendar to be sure that there
will not be a conflict of afterschool schedules, all practices are mandatory:




Tuesday October 21st, from 3P.M. to 4 P.M. Instruction/ organizational Meeting
Monday October 27th, from 3P.M. to 4P.M. Pro Team Member
Monday November 3rd, from 3P.M. to 4 P.M. Con Team Member
Monday November 17th, from 3 P.M. to 4 P.M. wrap up before the debate!
Please sign below indicating the students and the Parents understand the obligations of the Debate
