 Plan coordinate and supervise the biennial inspections of seven Marine Corps installations and commands
within the Eastern United States in order to ensure the installations are operating within Marine Corps
Standards.
 Investigate all allegations of fraud, waste and abuse within Marine Corps Installations East.
Battalion Operations Officer, Headquarters and Support Battalion
2009 -2010
 Coordinate the daily activities of all staff functions for human resources, logistics and operations.
Responsible for responding to tasks from higher headquarters and integrating the staff functions of the
battalion to meet the requirements of the tasks.
 Plan, coordinate, and supervise the training, annual training, and pre-deployment training of over 1,800
Marines assigned to this battalion to ensure the battalion was prepared for events ranging from antiterrorism to destructive weather. Maximized training opportunities in the most efficient manner possible.
 Produced and published annual training plan allowing requirements to be scheduled up to a year in advance
to maximize training opportunities and streamline the training process
 Directly supervise 15 Marines.
 Member of the Marine Corps Base Mission Assurance Council whose purpose was linking the force
protections disciplines of antiterrorism, critical infrastructure protection, installations preparedness, and
physical and electronic security into a coherent and mutually supporting doctrine.
Executive Officer, 2nd Battalion, 10th Marines, 2nd Marine Division
2008 – 2009
 Directly supervise 60 Marines.
 Oversight of the organization, training, and operations of the battalion staff and provided operational and
logistical support to the largest Marine Division in the Marine Corps.
 Supervised the maintenance of supply, facility, and property accounts critical to the battalion’s operations.
Ensured proper administration of supply and weapons accounts valued at over 10 million dollars. Ensured
secure storage, periodic inventory, and proper discrepancy reconciliation.
 Served as the battalion’s primary human resource manager, overseeing personnel planning, accountability,
legal processes, investigations, family advocacy, and equal opportunity, as well as providing administration
including daily accountability, both military and civilian awards processes, and military and civilian
performance evaluations.
 Periodically reviewed organizational structure against emerging operational and administrative
requirements to ensure that the command was positioned to properly execute its missions and
responsibilities.





Reorganized a 500 – man artillery battalion into 3 separate Civil Military Operations detachments to
facilitate assigned mission for combat deployment to Iraq.
Analyzed mission tasks and personnel qualifications to match appropriate personnel with mission critical
assignments.
Coordinated training to educate artillery-trained Marines on Civil Military Operations
Conducted personnel planning for officers, senior enlisted leaders, and personnel with critical skills to
ensure the unit was properly staffed.

Fire Support Coordinator, Regimental Combat Team Six, 2 nd Marine Division
2006 – 2008
 Advised the Commanding Officer on all matters pertaining to fire support, to include close air support,
indirect fires (artillery, mortars and naval gunfire), information operations, and civil military operations.
 Used extensive organizational and interpersonal communication ability to establish 2 radio stations and 1
television station to assist the Iraqi government in its ability to communicate information to its populace
and allowing it to achieve provincial control.
 Coordinated the Information Operations and Civil Military Operations for over 2,500 Marine during
combat operations.
Training Analyst, Training and Education Command
2003 – 2006
 Responsible for the analysis of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and its application to the
artillery, assault amphibian vehicle, tank, and Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company (ANGLICO) military
occupational specialties and the production of their respective training and readiness Manuals.
 Planned, coordinated, and conducted subject matter expert conferences to brief each community on the
Systematic Approach to Training, the methodology required to build Training and Readiness manuals and
to capture data to produce said manuals.
 Responsible for the budgeting, travel of subject matter experts, and overall conduct at each conference.
 USMC curriculum developer qualified.
Logistics Officer, 5th Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment
2002 – 2003
 Responsible for the overall logistical support of an artillery battalion of over 550 Marines, 100 motor
vehicles, and 18 howitzers including, but not limited to, the overall supply, budgeting, maintenance
functions, schedules, and costs.
 Provided logistics in support of the battalion in an austere environment during Operation Iraqi Freedom,
moving 550 Marines, 150 vehicles, and 18 howitzers over 750 kilometers into and out of Iraq while
maintaining a 98 percent readiness level of equipment.
Battery Commanding Officer, 5th Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment
2002
 Responsible for the training, equipping, morale, and welfare of 120 Marines as well as an equipment
account worth over 1 million dollars. Routinely conducted human resource management ensuring Marines
were assigned to the proper billets with professional progression to keep them competitive for promotion.
