We've produced more plays written by Puerto Rican playwrights than any other company in Chicago and will continue to “bring the streets to the stage” in our second decade by showcasing Latina/o playwrights and actors in works that explore and illustrate Latino life and history. “Adoration of the Old Woman celebrates our successful history of presenting works by José Rivera (among many other playwrights) and strengthens our connection to the community by being the first to bring this important--and very funny—play to Chicago and the Midwest.
