In the primal soup where water mixes with earth, Algaea replicates, creating matter.
Who is Algaea?
Algaea is the Dakini who dwells within and activates in the primal ooze of creation. She is the
raw material holding the building blocks of all terrestrial life. She is the embodiment of all the
algae, the microbial and microcondria that take sunlight and translate it into matter. She is Mud
Woman. She contains all microbial worlds, she contains/is host to all these microscopic beings
which are the rich soup of existence. She makes you confront your reactions to what is perceived
as ‘clean’ and ‘dirty’
She is Mistress of Photosynthesis.

Areas of water, mud, where algae breeds all over planet. Primal soup.

Nature & Description of Dakini
Algaea exists in the realm where water mixes with earth.

Her body glistens as she rises from the primal mud. She is the energy of becoming, the place
where the formless takes form. As such she represents potential in its raw state. She also is the
queen of the realm of microscopic life. She represents your primal being and your cellular being.
Algaea’s image is homage to the spiral of life. She unfolds as a spiral from the primal, lifebegetting pool. As the action of sunlight stimulates the algae in the water to grow, so Algaea
emerges from the mud, reaching towards the sunlight, replicating herself as cells within cell. She
is constantly being reborn and continually giving birth to herself.
Algaea’s forehead is adorned with a green spiral, representing the blue green algae Spirulina,
queen of algaes.
To the left Algaea’s steady gaze assures us of her regality, her firm knowledge of herself as
foundational to life. She wants us to recognize the consciousness that is the algae, this
microscopic life system. She wants her nobility to be recognized, though her origins are lowly.
She has included frogs within her portal as she feels very protective of them, and she has always
nourished and supported them, as she does so many others… The frogs represent all the life she
nurtures. See her cellular similarity with the frog eggs inside the mother frog, see her nurture the
frog spawn as tenderly as she nurtures her own life cycle…
The palette of the picture emulates the blue green and red algaes that grace our waters and where
water and earth mix. This spectrum of colors is the matrix through which algae translates and
harnesses sunlight.
Algaea is the original terraformer of earth, her pigmentation resonates to transduce light into
biochemical energy. We derive plastic and fuel from the ancient remains of previous incarnations
of Algaea…
Divinatory Meaning
Algaea’s appearance is your body speaking to you. Listen to it. It has its own wisdom if you are
open to receive it.
Let go of concepts and conceptual thought and surrender to a cellular kind of knowing.
Deconstruction.
Mutability.
Remove structural artifice and get down to basic factors.
Find the simple solution.
Resolve complexity into simplicity.
Go back to the original cause behind the current situation to find the solution.
Let fluidity dissolve solidity.
A desire to express a primal aspect of your nature.
Go with your primal instincts, your gut reaction.
Realize that even the smallest of organisms is living consciousness.
This applies to every cell of your body as much as each living organism in a mass of ‘pond
scum’.
Are you a clean freak? Time to loosen up.
The consciousness that is Algaea wants to help us co-create solutions for our planet’s plight.
She can take our waste materials- carbon dioxide gas, sewerage and other effluents- and
transform them into fuel and food. She can help reconstruct our atmosphere.
If we think of ourselves in a similar light, we can see the wisdom of Algaea. She says in nature’s
system, nothing goes to waste.

How can you apply this to your own life, physically and/or emotionally, mentally, spiritually?
How do you waste/leak energy?
On the physical level, an attitude of recycling can come into play in many different arenas.
Modern life is generally very wasteful, so it is easy to see how to make improvements. Algaea
would like you to do that.
Emotionally, take a look at what drains you and what nurtures you. Negative emotions have a
charge. The wise person knows how to take that charge and turn it positive.
Mentally, you probably waste a lot of mental energy on worrying about stuff. Just about
everyone does and its another drain and waste of energy. The more effective way is to relax and
meditate on the issue. Algaea offers you her warm relaxing primal soup in which to do that.
Spiritually Algaea says you will never die. You are part of an ever living physical body which,
even after your form passes away, the cells that make up life are going to keep on joining
together and multiplying and life will go on. You are eternally connected to Life. You are part of
the primal pool of all becoming and part of Algaea as she is part of you.
Respect and love every cell of your being. Each cell is a piece of living consciousness, a fully
functioning system in its own right that collaborates with other like beings to create the colonies
that form the living system that comprises our being.
Algaea is here to show you that you are part of everything, in a very visceral way.
Indications
The indication is that superfoods such as algae would be a recommended addition to your diet.
Feed your cells with love and light. Consuming blue green algaes such as spirulina is one of the
most direct ways of doing this as these algaes have the ability to transform sunlight into matter
more rapidly than just about anything else.
Mud is healing and rejuvenating for you. Take a mud bath. Use a mud pack on your body. Ingest
minerals from mud.
Use natural products over synthetic – for example, henna for the hair and natural supplements.
Practices
Algaea has these practices for you
1. Getting back to basics.
Visualize
yourself lying in the mud, as part of the primal soup. Feel yourself submerged in the
warm mud, feel its texture, thick and viscous, all around you, supporting you, dissolving
your boundaries. Your body squirms in sensual abandon. You are in the womb of all
becoming and you feel good, you feel supported.
Algaea gives you the opportunity not just to dissolve your ego in her, but to
dissolve
your very identity and to emerge reborn.
2. Sending love to your cells.
Close your
eyes, relax and use your inner eye, your powers of visualization, to travel into your being.
Let your vision become more and more microscopic until you envision the cells which
comprise all the structures of your body. See them all dancing happily in the cosmic soup

of your being. Send them light, love and appreciation, for their happiness and well being
is your own.
3. Sending love to Algaea.
Visualise the planet, as you visualized your body. Now come down into her bodies of
water, to the places where earth and water mix. Envision the muddy places full of frogs
whose chorus of croaks fills the air. Come down into the algae and into the living green
cells of Algaea. She is present in every green cell. Send her love for she is the foundation
of life. Thank her for her many gifts and let her know you recognize the beauty and
majesty of her being.
4. Recycling.
Find a way you can transform a waste product into something useful.
