Sapulpa High School Bulletin for Monday, January 27, 2014 COLOR GUARD Congratulations to the Color Guard who placed in the Midwest City Contest this weekend. JV Color Guard placed 3rd out of 11, and Varsity placed 3rd out of 6 in their respective classes. PROM TIME! Prom is April 5. Prom tickets will be for sale in the mornings at the snack bar. Get your discounted tickets early for $35 dollars. Ticket prices will go up in March. Prom t-shirts will also be for sale. Shirts are $15 dollars. Each student who purchases a shirt will be entered into a drawing to win TWO FREE prom tickets. Students who are on the hold list must get those obligations taken care of ASAP. Students cannot purchase prom tickets until they are clear of all holds. If you are ineligible at the time of prom, you will not be able to go. It will be in the library. IT'S PINK OUT TIME We are getting ready for our “2nd Survivor Court” on February 18th at our Chieftain Basketball Games. Turn Tulsa Pink will also be helping us as we prepare for a Fun Night to bring Cancer of All kinds to the awareness of Teens. We would like to ask the students to Nominate a Special person that is a cancer survivor of any kind to participate in our “Court” if you would like to nominate someone please stop by the Nurse Office before February the 3rd. We can Nominate only 5 so come by soon! Prizes will be awarded and voting will be done with donations to be given to a cancer charity! INDIAN ED The College Horizon program is a great opportunity Native American students to get one on one help on the college application, meet other prospective Native American college bound students and get financial aid help. This year’s summer program will be on the campus of Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.
