Today is the last day the FBLA will collect dimes for the March of Dimes. Make your donations during break.
AP Students: Don’t forget to turn in your $20 deposit by April 3rd to take the written exam for college credits.
Join us for “A NIGHT IN VEGAS…Prom 2012! Tickets are now on sale in the Library. Today is the last day they will
be $25. They will increase in price each week after that until prom. You cannot purchase tickets at the door; you
must buy them in the Library BEFORE the day of Prom. Students who plan to bring out-of-school dates need to
sign them up in the front office. Also be sure to check with Mrs. Downing in the Library to see if you have earned
free tickets from magazine sales.
Seniors…Local scholarship deadlines are quickly approaching! Make sure you are getting your applications turned
in to the office. Check the school website for all the details.
Meriden/Ozawkie Chamber of Commerce Scholarship applications are due TODAY!
Drivers Ed: If you would like to take Driver’s Education this summer, come to the office to get an application. The
deadline is April 20th.
Only three German students left! We have a female guitar playing soccer star!! We have a male music listening
skateboarder! And we have a male skateboarding fast-food eater! See Mrs. Bruton for information and biographies.
There will be an informational meeting for all host families announced soon!!
Juniors and Seniors…please join the Junior Parents on May 5th for a spectacular Vegas-Styled “After-Prom Party”.
Tickets will be sold every Tuesday and Thursday during lunch in the commons till May 3rd for $5 each. If you
register by April 12th, you will receive a free After-Prom t-shirt. Only the tickets will be available after April 12th. All
guests need to be approved by JWHS administration.
The “Team Prom Fair” Runway Show is tomorrow from 4-8pm at Highland Park High School. Tickets are $5 each.
Come see what’s in and what’s out for prom.
School Carnival is here tomorrow at 4pm Be sure to come and help the Booster Club support your school. NHS
students who need community service hours and can help with the carnival Friday evening or Saturday should talk
to Mrs. Kilgore.
Senior Boys: If you would like to participate in StuCo’s annual “Mr. Jeff West” on April 14th, please sign-up in the
office. We would like at least 8 talented young men so we can host a terrific event. We also would like to invite
senior girls to sign-up in the office to be escorts. Additionally ladies, we need a Master of Ceremonies, yes M.C.s.
