To all Glenbard Hockey Families and Players, I want to thank all of you for a successful 2014-15 hockey season. One that saw our Varsity team win its second state title and third appearance in four years and at the United Center. One that saw our JV team make it to the state Final Four in a double overtime thriller. This season should be just as exciting for the players, parents and club as we compete in our third season in the IHSHL West Division. Last season proved to be a positive step for the club. Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity players experienced great competition, more games, and better opportunities to grow as both individuals and hockey players. Below are some highlights of our league: West Division includes top competitive teams such as: Hinsdale Central, LincolnWay, OPRF, Naperville North, Naperville Central, Neuqua Valley, Sandburg, Waubonsie, York, Wheaton West, Plainfield and Lyons Township. 26 regular season, plus 7+ playoff games for Varsity. 26 regular season, plus 6+ playoff games for Junior Varsity. Glenbard Hockey accepts cash, check, Visa, Master Card, and Discover Card as methods of payment for player fees. ** NOTE** If a scheduled payment is not received by the 30th of the month in which it is due, then the player will not be allowed on the ice until the payment is received. No player will be allowed on the ice after January 1st if the player’s balance is not paid in full. For fall tryouts, all players will have to bring their USA Hockey registration number. You can secure it at the following web site http://www.usahockeyregistration.com. No player will be allowed on the ice without his or her registration number. Finally, if you are buying new equipment, please consider the following: our hockey helmet, gloves, and pants/shells are primarily black. Though not required, it is strongly suggested that you consider this when purchasing new gear. Once we get underway, we will have both parent & team meetings. I hope you all have had a great summer, and I look forward to seeing you at the rink. Sincerely, David Weisz President, Glenbard Hockey Club
