Fort Bend ISD Destination Imagination Parent Information Meeting September 29, 2015 FBISD DI Contacts o David Sebek, Training o Becky McGuire, Registration o Georgette Bubar, Director of Advanced Academics Destination Imagination (DI) is an educational activity in which student teams solve open-ended challenges and present their solutions at tournaments The Destination Imagination (DI) program is available for ANY kindergarten through 12th grade student attending a Fort Bend ISD School. Teams of up to seven students may be formed as long as they have a Team Manager—an adult age 18 or older looking for an amazing personal and professional experience. Teams compete only against their peers in any one of five levels. o Rising Stars! ®: Preschool through 2nd grade o Elementary Level: 3rd-5th grade (No student reaching age 12 by June 15, 2016) o Middle Level: 6th-8th Grade (No student reaching age 15 by June 15, 2016) o Secondary Level: 9th-12th Grade (No student reaching age 19 by June 15, 2016) Volunteers in the DI Program, who are not school employees, need to complete a criminal background check through Fort Bend ISD.
