An immediate support @US $200 per child support is required per year to continue the education being imparted to these 450 children undergoing education from Primary classes to High Class (1st standard to 10th standard) .This school, which has emerged as one of the best schools in the area attracting appreciation from rural people and Government requires to be sustained, otherwise these rural children will end up as School Drop outs and the betterment of poor people will be got affected. An immediate partnership or sponsorship to this well established school of the children from poorest of the poor families will not only save the education of them but also protect the hopes of the rural people developed so painstaking for the last 21 years. The yearly expenditure for this Porject is a total of Rs56,55,425/-(US $1,02,825) and HEBRON can manage only up to Rs.10,04,000 ($18,254.55) and an amount of Rs46,51,425/-(($84,571.36) is required as support from sponsors ,donors or willing Partners to this Education Program of vulnerable children.i.e.an amount of $188 per child per year is required to run the project successfully. Who are you trying to help? What issue are you trying to address?(Required. Maximum 1500 characters.) The Children belonging to the marginalized and neglected sections in Tiruvannamali District of Tamilnadu ,India who are unable to attend schools due to acute poverty of their parents are the beneficiaries. Our focus is on education of the children from 5years to 15 years from primary education to Matriculation(High School) as per the syllabus of Government of Tamilnadu and empower them with knowledge and technologies that will enable them to carve out a quality life among the citizens of this country. The children in rural areas emerging from poverty stricken people, since they depends on Agricultural coolie are seldom encouraged to go to school and the parents are least interested in their conditions of living. If at all the children are somehow brought to the school, they turn out be school drop outs and they end up in Child Labor and these poor families continues to be embedded in inhuman living conditions. Most of the families are continuous victims of ignorance unscientific believes and girl child are encouraged for child marriage and they are deprived the benefits of modern education and improved quality of life.. In this very unfortunate back ground the HEBRON initiative in the rural belt brought a paradigm shift and almost 457 school goers are developed from these marginalized sections, of which 100 most poor children are selected and a Residential education is given and another 357 students are given free education as day schooling. These interventions with much hard work for the last 22 years has created much impact in the villages and HEBRON is playing a very vital role in shaping the future of these poor and down trodden children. All these years finance was a big problem and with own funds and donations from relatives the service is continued and it is one of the tallest institution in the belt. Now due to lack of financial support from Government we find very difficult to continue the noble works and we are struggling. At this juncture support from donors or philanthropist have become an un avoidable one to continue the ongoing educational program and hence this project. This Project will take care of 100 poor children with hostel facilities inclusive of boarding and lodging and 350 day scholars. What is your project and how will it help?(Required.
