900 9-12 students in a district of over 3,400. I implemented and enforced district and building
level policy, and was in charge of the Instructional Program, Summer School and Driver’s
Education programs and their budgets for the district and adjacent districts. I also evaluated the
teaching and Student Affairs staffs, attended IEP and Administrative Council and School Board
meetings, supervised athletic events, and led the Student Council, along with application and
editing of the Faculty and Student handbooks, all transferable skills in the Sports Information
field.

At Pekin, I was responsible for the day-to-day operation of the middle school, including teacher

and attending various meetings and workshops. I also spent a year after this appointment,
because of a RIF, substitute teaching at Fairfield and Ottumwa Community School Districts.
