Lobby Advocacy Summary of the project In Jharkhand Human trafficking, unsafe migration, unemployment and naxulism are the major issues; as a result girl child and women are victimized. Ashray Vihar ( protective and Rehabilitation center) provide education, shelter, food, medication, clothing, care & protection, counseling, health care and nurture young mind to develop their knowledge and life coping skills. Provide healthy, protective environment ,create opportunities to live a dignified life and be a responsible citizen in future. Problems statement:Despite of its natural resources, tradition cultural and heritage in Jharkhand, today trafficking, migration, unemployment, livelihood insecurity, naxulism emerged as very sensitive and serious issue. Total 77% girls trafficked belong to the tribal/ indigenous community. Women and girl child are mostly victimized for various purposes such as labour, domestic work, prostitution, organ trade etc. The financial support we expect to Prevent, Protect, Prosecute, rescue, rehabilitate girl child through education To create opportunity for children to fulfill their basic needs such as food, shelter, education, personal care, school dress/ uniform & clothing, school kits including books, Transportation facilities, tuition fees etc. and help innovative and creative activities through education. Educational opportunities help them in building life coping skills. In Ashray Vihar, proper care, protection shall be provided to trafficked victims, orphan, child labour and contribute the state to reduce trafficking cases Long term impact: Total 100 young minds become motivators of dignified life and good citizen in future in Jharkhand. Objective: To provide nutritious food to needy children to grow healthy and sound. To create friendly environment for children’s physical, sensorial and socio- education development. Providing Translate facilities to ensure regular attendance of school. To encourage the children to follow daily routine set up as ‘Time – Table’ for their overall development. Strategies: Enrollment of needy children, trafficked victims, naxalism affected, orphan, child labour etc. Provide nutritious food, shelter, proper care and protection. Ensure enrollment of children into the school. OUTCOME: Healthy and sound growth of 100 needy children by nutritious food provided at the center. Physical, sensorial and socio- education development of children in friendly environment. Self-motivation and discipline routine of children leads to strong foundation for their future. Personality grooming for better citizen of nation. SUSTAINABLITY:The children will be nourished under this project will be directly responsible for the sustainability of the project.
