Dear Students and Parents,
The following fund raising opportunities are available and we need your help!
1) “Portland Metro and Surrounding Areas” coupon Book
Each student sells two “Portland Metro and Surrounding Areas” coupon book.
Books sell for $20 and the choir will receive $10. Proceeds will go toward the
purchase of a new (different/used) piano for the choir room.
Note: Please make checks payable to Tualatin Choir.
2) Recycling
Thursday, February 20 we will be taking all bottles and cans to Oregon Beverage
Bottle Recycling. I will need two to three parents to help transport student helpers
to the center. Our appointment is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. We will depart at 11:00.
Please consider donating your bottles and cans. Drop off: February 3 – 18.
Instructions:
1) remove all plastic caps
2) rinse all pop/soda cans – pull off tabs and turn in for a different
fund raiser
3) rinse beer bottles – if they come in a 24 count box , please box
prior to drop off.
4) Check to see if Oregon recycles the product in your bottles/cans –
if not, discard in your recycling at home.
5) Separate glass bottles – cans and plastic bottles
6) No wine bottles, please.
3) Box Tops for Education
Clip Box Tops for Education – 10 cents each adds up! Check expiration date –
please! Also, clip Campbell Labels for Education – we will donate to Byrom
Elementary!!!
4) Oregon St Sporting Clay State Tournament -Thurs., July 10 – Sunday, July 13
We need 30 Students to commit to four days to work as trappers for the State
Tournament. Students lodging and food will be covered. Choir will earn $4,000.
I will need several parents to help chaperone. Sign up on form outside of choir
office. Students must be available for entire tournament. Please check your
schedule carefully.
5) Fireworks
Watch for more information regarding dates, times and needs. Parents – we need
your help! Set up maybe the weekend prior to the 4th….more information coming!

6) See’s Valentine Candy
Student’s personal account will receive all proceeds from the candy they sell. We
will begin January 13, 2014.
7. Calls from Cupid
Let your special Valentine know how much you love them by sending them a
musical Call from Cupid. Song selections and order forms coming soon.
8. Singing Vale-grams
Crimsonnaires will be selling Vale-grams to students on Valentine’s Day, Friday
February 14.

9. Rummage Sale
Don’t let clutter get you down! Donate your unwanted items between Monday April
7 through Friday April 11. The sale will take place on Saturday April 12.
We will need help with the following:
1. Set up on Friday evening (April 11)
2. Running the sale Saturday from 8:00 to 3:00
